Have not posted in while. Need to catch up on the pics, but the daughter has hijacked the camera so will have to do a series at a later stage.

Good day fellow builders. just a few more pics to update my build
This is my workspace. Tried to keep it clean but was informed that it was a sign of a sick mind, so left it as is.
[]
First set of canon port lids.
[]
Gallery side and canon port lids.
[]
Rear and side of the gallery. You probably notice an extra strange looking port next to the gallery. This is where I will be attaching my chord(leds powered by a laptop 12 volt battery charger)to generate the lights I have incorportated into the ship.
[]
Rear gallery. Decided to keep to the natural wood colours that I started with.
[]
Steps on the side of the ship and entrance. Still plenty of touch up and cleaning up to do.
[]
Entrance out of focus, but you get the general idea.
[]
Gallery side.
[]
Rails in natural colour.
[]
Flag lockers and a few other deck furnishings.
[]
Another set of rails. I will get the names right one of these days.
[]
Steps and entrance.
[]

I have completed all the masts and will sort out the pics and post shortly
Any comments welcome.
Happy building.
Rgds, Hans

Good job on the lighting Hans!

Thanks for your comments Ian and Mr.T

Mr.T you are quite right, the display corner is in the darker part of the room, so should work well with a display case. At least that is the intention and vision.

Ian. The colour is a matt imbuia stain/varnish, that we in SA use for outside planked decking stains. I chose the matt and colour, because as you have noticed it does not stain perfectly even. It developes a light and dark areas that give the impression of weathering. It has three coats brushed on. That is the look I am trying to achieve. The hull is the same is product, but teak gloss. Hope this helps.

Hi Mike. The internal lighting has been done with LEDS. I am now looking at the lanterns with fibre optics as my preferred choice there. I will try put up some pics now that I have my camera back. Thanks for looking in.
