ISSUE ONE PLANKING I numbered the planks and fitted in place with adhesive Starboard 1 and 2. Hi MWG, I found that bows were the difficult part of the planking, but the second layer hid up any defects in the first. I fitted all the small pieces afterwards, I could wedge them in tight and they would stay in without any nails. Plenty of soaking and using a soldering iron was my method. ISSUE 1 PLANKING So what I useuly do in a situation like this is fit a piece of planking over the undulation, as this model is double planked its not too serious,if it is a single planked model like the Victory I would take more care, but having said that it can sometimes look like a repair on the model and look authentic.
