Ok when this first started I ordered the Endeavour Long boat, in 3 parts, as a practice model. So far I have received the instructions and parts for installment 2 and the instructions but no parts for installment 1 , even though they were sent out on 29/5/10, So the plan is to have a bash at that and belay (a nautical term) the order to cancel my subscription to HMS Victory and any future issues I receive I will leave sealed so that if I then decide to cancel after attempting the long boat I will at least be able to get a refund.
FAO admin,
could you send me PDFs of the instructions so that I could send them out to my mailing list until I make a decision. (Don't ask don't get, He can only say no)

So if any one else wishes to subsribe to the PDF's+ then send me an email at dedworthdognospam@gmail.com Delete "nospam" from the address. At least you'll get the 1st 10 to get started and who knows what the future holds.

Woot Good on ya Jim glad to hear you're gonna give this modelliing lark another go ThumpUp

This is my first wooden ship build too and from the pictures of your progress your attempt is better than mine, I've even ordered a back issue of number 6 so I can have another go at the launch as I have that gut feeling that mine is gonna be awful Blushing LOL

Anyway Blushing fingers crossed your longboat goes ok and you continue with the victory build.

Good on you Jim, I struggled with the launch myself and this is not my first build. There is enough experience and goodwill on this forum to get you through if you decide to stick with it.
