Added a bit more hull detail in the form of cut down dowling and thin strips of wood. Look a lot better when the paint is on.  HMS Surprise

Was going to do a costing exercise on this one just to see how much. Up till now I have only purchased extra wood for planking and a bottle of superglue amd a packet of copper eyepins. Total cost to date £24. HMS Surprise

Thanks for taking an interest Hans, another update. Been cracking on with the beakhead detail and had to make a couple of new parts and a raid in the spares box. This is the bridge to the bowsprit remade better than the original as everything is now flush fitted. The figurehead ,a cast lump of brass.  HMS Surprise
