Good evening from 'The Dockyard'. So this week i made a start on adding detail to the aft bulkhead of the Torpedo Compartment. First job was to fabricate the bulkhead door. The attached photo shows it made and ready for painting and fitting. I used acetal sheet and square section rod to make the profile and add the locking mechanism. I then turned my attention to making the set of steps that lead down from the bulkhead door to the deck. I used acetal sheet and strip to make the steps and used brass rod to make the hand rail.
