She is looking really good Alan BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin .When you do get to the rubbing down stage on the second planking I would start with no coarser than p240.I find silicon carbide paper gives a better finish than aluminium oxide.Aluminium oxide is often green or yellow but silicon carbide is light grey.B&Q sell it in 5m rolls as a between coats abrasive,it has a self lubricating quality that polishes the wood.
Kind Regards Nigel

Hi Alan!
A very nice planking, the treenailing will be looking fantastic! Do you want to make a treenailing also for the lower body?
