Turret is coming along now.

Upper part of the turret is nearly done, seats to fit and that's about it. Gun breach is painted and started on the detailing.

I am so used to seeing such great work from you Daran, that I have come to expect excellence from every update now and you certainly haven't disappointed me yet with this model!!
Keep up the great work mate, always watching your builds.

Hello Kev, thanks for the comment. This has been fun to build, I like the bigger scale for the detail. Still got the kingtiger to do after this one!!

Turret interior is finished, just the shells to add, and they will be added after detailing and weathering. I have applied a coat of Klear to seal it all. Once its dry its time to mess it all up!!!

Stunning work Nem as usual and some beautiful weathering your doing.. So after this are you tempted by one of the new Trumpeter offerings in 1/16? I might have to invest in the M1A2 Spencer

Lower turret detail and weathering well under way. Heavier wash on the turret to depict the smoke and soot from the main gun.

Absolutely fantastic work, realism is spot on.
May I ask what method you use for chipping? Do you do it all be brush?
Looks great.

They say patience is a virtue, you must be the most virtuous person ever Does look fantastic, chipping is incredibly difficult to get right & you've got it pretty spot on, colour & application. If I wore a hat I would take it off to you Wilfy
