Most of it should be painted white and black. I´m not really sure to do it this way, perhaps I´ll take light and dark wood. Do you have an idea which kind of wood I could use at the dark parts?

You could try getting some ebony venear and cutting your own planks but be careful what one is ordered as some ebony is grey and not black also its not cheep. Hope this helps

Hi!
Now the upper row of gunports got some frames, not a job I really likeBigGrin
Finished that I started to make the bow a little bit stronger. In the instructions some 5x2mm wooden strips should be glued there. I decided to do it in another way. I prepared them alone on the working place and sanded the front nearly to a knife (sorry, I don´t find better words for this). Please wait until this job is finished, then you see why I worked this way.
