Know what you mean about failing eyes, I have the same problem... I actually use a pair of optivisors and find then invaluable, especially for detailed work and they're not expensive either. Don't think I could model without them....

Here`s what i`ve done the firewall is now complete also added the "FAMO" name on the front plus the spare wheel added along with the radiator pipes

Thanks Jase .i`ve started to add the etch to the trailer now/ very fine detail on the axles which consists of the brake lines like on the Famo /also couldn`t get the tank workshop wheels over £30 , so i `ve ordered the Panzer Art ones for £15.50. never used there products before so i hope there nice and crisp like the cast off ones for the Famo will post some picture`s asap. regards Phil

Ok built up the etch locker door for the Famo plus the bonnet detail . the dash and dials are now added also the spare`s or tool trays i`ve got the etch tools to go in these and first picture of the first trailer boggie all the best Phil

Hello Phil,

Fortunately, I have a very good set of optivisors with top quality Japanese optics and different strength lenses - my wife works in an opticians, so I got them at cost price, but they still cost me £65 about 3 years ago!

I love doing etch work but boy is some of that stuff small even with the optivisor?! Keep up the good work mate, watching with interest all the way.

thanks Kev !well done only small amount this week has my Mrs is ill, so have not done any serious modeling mostly the etch on the first trailer bogie and fitted the dash to the Famo the Panzer art wheels have arrived look very nice and crisp! more soon regards Phil
