Hi All, Thanks for all the interest shown. Have an update for you. This update is the start of pack 7, beginning at stage 47. First thing is to extend the right hand running board. As before lose fit the brackets, fit the base board and the running board, then tighten the brackets. Pic 1 Following on fit three sandspreader tube fasteners (one arrowed right of next picture, two slightly hidden by cooling tube). The right cooling tube has a joint and two mounting brackets added, before it`s fixed through and onto the running board. (The two other sand tube fastners are just visible behind the cooling pipe). Pic 2 The sand tube fasteners are fitted to the other side later, visible but fitting not shown in this diary. That concludes stage 47, more soon. Following on, stage 48 builds the compressor and fits it with a bracket to the left hand side of the model. The compressor consists of six easily assembled parts, shown in pic 1 and fitted to it`s bracket and the engine in pic 2. In stage 49, you first fit an inspection lid to the running board, part of it arrowed to the left of the next pic (it`s a flat plate with a locating lug fitted to the running board) missed a full pic. This followed by the left hand cooling tube in similar fashion the the right one. All shown in pic 3. Next fit the reservoir tank under the left running board after fitting the cooling pipe in the end, attach to the running board with two screws.pic 4 Lastly, for stage 49 fix the down pipe from the cooling pipe with a connector and fix into the compressor. That concludes stage 49 and this update. Happy building Regards delboy271155 (Derek) delboy271155 attached the following image(s): COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi All, Thanks again for the views and support, most appreciated. So it`s now stage 50 and the half way point of this build. In stage 50 you build the water pump. Pic 1 Then fit the pump to the right hand side via a bracket. Pic 2 Onto stage 51: Fit the right hand inspection lid. Pic 3 Fit the right air reservoir. Pic 4 Fit the air cooling tube. Pic 5 Lastly for this update, stage 52: Add the next running board. Pic 6 Add to that the oil pump box. Pic 7 Finally add the coupling gear. Pic 8 Well that`s all for this update, just three more stages till the end of Pack 7. Got to download and edit some pics, then I`ll finish off pack 7. Be back soon. Hi All, Thanks Tony for your comments and all who have looked in. This update is the last for pack 7 and until pack 8 arrives and I get some more built. Hmmm - May have to start the E-Type, but don`t tell anyone Eh. So, stage 52 finished and now onto Stages 53 - 55. Stage 53 sees the last running board fitted along with the Oil pump box and Boiler tank. Pic 1 That`s followed by the Fire hydrant and water supply pipe. Pic 2 Stage 54: Has two sections, the first of which I`ll be doing at a later time. That`s putting the connectors onto the lamp wires. Second part is the fitting of the main cab frame. Pic 3 Stage 55: First thing to do is make up the cab floor. Pic 4 Then fit with four brackets. Followed by the floor edging. Pic 5 close up Pic 6 cab overview So that`s the end of pack 7, see you soon with the start of pack 8. Well, time for a long awaited update. Have quite a bit done so will update in sections from time to time. So onto stage 56: This involves making up the two seats for the cab and fitting them along with the Brake Valve and Water Injector Pipe. Note that the Brake Valve needs orientating so the levers are facing the correct way. Stage 57 Two jointing plates are are screwed to the top of the left-hand cab wall and the cab corner roof plate is then fixed to these plates. An outer window frame is glued to the outside of the cab wall and the assembled sliding window fixed to the inside. A vent plate is then fixed to the lower cab wall. The last thing to do for this stage is fit the window eave above the window on the outside of the cab wall.
