24/10/2017 Morning activity: remaining two cabin walls fitted... poop deck (what a name 🤣) support beams fitted. Afternoon activity: ship’s wheel fitted... gap around the cabin wall filled (top will be cut off)... started to planking the poop deck... now paused to spend some time with my son (daily XBox time 😊) Evening activity: support pillars added to accomodate bulwarks on poop deck... poop deck fully planked, left dry overnight before sanding smooth. 04/11/2017 Skid beams fitted... companionway ladders fitted... inner side of bulwarks at bow built up... laser etched part numbers filled with milliput for sanding smooth. Bow bulwarks cut and sanded smooth... front wall of the bulwark also built up inside... frames around quarterdeck opening fitted... deck edges protected with masking tape to protect it during painting the bow/poop bulwark insides. Now waiting for the milliput to dry which is insanely slow in the cold temperature... also some racks for cannon balls prepared.
