Hi Cap`n,BigGrin
Thanks for the nice comments, I had a few moments in the planking where things took a bit of a wobble, but, took note of advise from the more experienced builders and took it slowly slowly and I think it was advise well listened to.
Good luck with your ongoing build.

Hi Claret,BigGrin
Thanks for looking in,the planking looked like a devil of a job when I first took it on, but, the gun port cutting is scaring the living c**p out of me. Cutting into all that hard work Confused and hoping it`s all in the right place Crying .

Well looks like another session of mark it, check it, check it again and again then take the bull by the horns,BigGrin

Coming along well DelBigGrin BigGrin I have a hard rubber double length sanding block I got from a car bodyshop suppliers. They are fairly inexpensive and do help in smoothing out any high and low spots,I find a normal block a little short to get true lines without alot of constant checking.I also used a piece of garden hose with the paper wrapped around it for the awkward shapes at the stern.
Kind regards Nigel
