Looks great. Yes Dan I saw the same thing with the brake lines wrapped too in some of the pics. Did you only cut off the kit's brake lines and just add the braided lines? or is the entire piece all scratch built bits?
I was trying to use the leftover foil to wrap on the brake lines but it doesn't stick very well. I was also trying to slide some small braided lines over the existing kit's lines but can't fit it over the piece.

I was also trying to slide some small braided lines over the existing kit's lines but can't fit it over the piece. Hi Jim i used the kit brake lines, just cut off the main pipes, i used some hose ends from RB Motion & hiroby and used a braided line that slipped into the ends for a neat look! with the banjo end of the brake line i just drilled a hole and inserted the braided line as there a little less prominent. you could try some bare metal foil if you want the taped up look http://hobby.uk.com/bare-metal-foil-matt-aluminium.htmlRegards Dan Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4. Thanks for the info.
On a side note, did you paint the clutch packs? I'm going to paint mine based on the pics I have. They have a bronze color to them (not sure if they are bronze 'brand new' or if they turn color over time on the real car?).

well its been a while, and i don't have much to post. been way to busy to do any modeling lately and was waiting on some replacement parts from Degostini, which i have to say where fantastic in getting the parts to me very quickly with no hesitation whatsoever. Fantastic job Customer services thank you. well with the new parts arrived and a bit more time hopefully i will post some more progress in the next few days. well given the limited time and parts ive only managed to paint up the Turbos, heat ex-changer, header tank & Plenum chamber. regards Dan Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4. Looking good. The extra details are excellent. May I ask what paints you used on the exhaust pipe? Malc.
