And finaly for this session, I had previously bent the Gallery rear panel useing a weight suspended in a plastic container IT WORKED as you can see MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

Well done MWG, I found that part of the build a bit tetchy, (no finger nails left) because the gallery parts were so fragile...the lugs on mine were slightly out, nothing a small file did not cure!! You are doing a fantastic job mate!!...keep the picture coming...

Hi everyone, step by step we are coming to the end of ISSUE 40. Here I have fitted the gallery rear panel no 60 trimming carefully the two gallery supports:- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

I then soaked the gallery side panels in hot water for 20 mins, and used this tried and tested method of putting a bend in them where they will wait for 48 hours:- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

Coming along nicely Mike, I prefer your planking on the launch, looks better then the thin brass/copper mesh supplied. A nice smooth finish on your hull planking too. For some reason or other I could not see the last few images? Didn't download. Will check again later. TIS
