I know this is not required for a bit but I fancied having ago at the modifications planned for the bridge. The kit provides a single piece bridge but intact this structure should be divided in 2 a wheel house to the front and a chart room at the back

I have used some plastic card to divide the the space in to correctly. inside both rooms are chart tables and draws made of wood. I intend to fabricate these from some scrap hardwood.

The wheel house table runs the full length of the back wall of the wheel house. Under the table are draws. the peace of wood was cut to length and then chiseled out before filed smooth to create the two sets of draws on either side.

The draws were marked out with a knife and dabs of brass paint simulate the brass Handels.

In the chart house is a repack with signal flags. Again this was cut and sanded to shape from the piece of scrap wood. I used dabs of colour paint to simulate the rolled up flags.
