I worked in this way all the way aft on both sides.

It was then a question of marking out in pencil the next sections for riveting.

The attached photo shows the tip of the stern with completed rivets and also the next section marked out.

This photo shows further pencil markings for the rivets. Marking out these sections took longer than expected due to the curve of the hull.

Well that concludes this week update.

The stern should be completed next week before i move onto the saddle tank weld lines and riveting along the length of the casing.

There is light at the end of the tunnel. Just! Blink

Good work Phil, those rivets are making a world of difference to the appearance of her. That section at the stern looked a little tricky but you've pulled it off with flying colours. Looking forward to your next update

Yep, was a little tricky, especially marking out around the tapered shape of the hull on the underside. I would mark out with what I believed at the time to be the correct intervals, only to look at it from distance and realise some were not aligned. Thankfully, marking out in pencil meant I could erase any mistakes and redraw. Granted, the pencil lines are a little dark in places, but once the undercoat goes on, only the rivets will show.
