Good morning from 'The Dockyard'.

More progress has been made fitting pipes and valves.

Attached is a valve, handwheel and pipe combination. The valve body is made from styrene, the pipe from 0.7mm solder and the addition of an etched handwheel. See attached.

The next thing I made is a funnel, or in Navy parlance a "pigs ear"!Flapper When opening a drain cock, the water would flow down the drain cock pipe into the funnel and from there directed to the bilge.

The attached photo shows the "pigs ear" painted and ready for fitting.
