    starting on the quarter deck,this has to be fixed a section at a time.so that you can finish off the middle deck.very awkward getting the pillars the right height with the skid beams.made a start on the cabin partitions.also started painting the figures(90)build hours to date 330.keep them comments coming please.     as you can see,I completed the rail capping,forecastle gratings,and the inner bulwarks,and the skid beam surrounds,moving onto the barricades next. total build time 360 hours. Hi Karl, she's getting better every time you post!  I was wondering about those pre-formed cabin walls under the poop deck, I know the internal partitions on the Admirals and Captains cabins were taken down just before going into action, but were those external walls designed to come down too? On both my DelPrado and on the Jotika, there just doesn't seem to be enough room to fire off the 12lb-er in the narrow cabins either side of the ship's wheel without recoiling back through the walls! Also there is a sketch by Turner in my Alan McGowan Victory book (p26) which shows the entire deck below the poop completely open right back to the stern gallery. If they do come down (and I'm NOT ripping mine out now!  ) I wonder how they waterproofed them? Keep up the great work! Thanks for that Karl, I suspected they might be removable, it's no wonder that a raking through the stern did so much damage!
