Hi All All the decks are now laid and have had three coats of varnish to seal them. The deck fittings have had a coat of varnish and will be having another two coats. The decks that can be seen through the grates and skylights have had a coat of black paint. The chimney/funnel was made up by first drilling out the holes for the eyelets and then adding the etch crown and the pre bent brass rings. The eyelets were added and the steam tube fixed in place. Finally the crown was bent into position to give the flared look. Some rivet detail has yet to be added to the tube. More soon.
