There is no scale given, I think Hachette used different scales in this model Painting of figurines is not really my world so I don´t want to use them, but they are offered on EBay. Regards, Bernd

Hi Great build, well its here in the UK now, so the first parts bought and the subscription is made, Been waiting for a decent Black Pearl since 2003! And just a quick question, On part B (issue 1) does the little notch on top, fit closer to Part A or Part C? (this would be either between ribs 6 & 7 or ribs 8 & 9) Happy Building, Russ On the workbench: My Victory Build Diary - Victory Cross Section Build Diary - Black Pearl Build DiaryUnder the Bench: Millenium Falcon, Black Pearl x 2, Coral Victory Cross Section, De Lorean

der Gohfelder wrote:Hi Taz! Collecting the issues some month is a good decision. In this case you can build it your own way. If you get the instructions in the same style as the german version, don´t worry. I think it´s made for children and it´s not very good, sometimes it´s better to build it another way. Working with MDF is OK, sometimes you need powerglue because the usual glue is not working very good. In Russia they are nearly finished with this model, I can give you a link where you can see the content of nearly all issues (of cause with russian text)
Regards, Bernd Hi Bernd, have you still got the link for the Russian site? I now have a friend from my local 'Beer Keller' who is building it as well but who has no internet access, It would be nice to see whats coming up and let him know as well. Great Build, Thanks Russ Happy Building, Russ On the workbench: My Victory Build Diary - Victory Cross Section Build Diary - Black Pearl Build DiaryUnder the Bench: Millenium Falcon, Black Pearl x 2, Coral Victory Cross Section, De Lorean

Hello, great work on your build. I'm starting mine soon when I've got a few issues together but was wondering what type of paint have you used? Is it water based paint?
