Kind Regards Nigel Thanks Nigel, I will be cutting those ears off on the centre section before I get to planking the edges... Once complete, next task will of course be treenailing, followed by a very light sanding and a coat of clear varnish....  .. Really like the look of it so far and I believe I am capturing the sort of used look I was after.... Regards Alan

Totally agree Alan,it looks the biz.I bet you find cutting the planks alot easier with the chopper. Kind Regards Nigel

Lovely decking Alan, it always takes longer than it seems!  but then again, the longer it takes, the more skill goes into it! Keep them coming, and have you got enough cocktail sticks? One of the best tools I have in my collection of many... Would recommend it to anyone... In addition my rigging book arrived, looks very interesting although as you say text heavy...
