BigGrin Thanks everyone for your comments and looking in.

I agree the tiles do make a big difference to the hull and look great but I think I will be toning it down with Patina-it. I know some will say that the rest of the ship will need to be weathered to match but im not so sure as a wooden ship needs constant maintainance so it stands to reason that a fresh coat of paint could be applied above the waterline at any time but the sheathed part of the hull could only be maintained in dry dock or by careaning both of which rarely happened. well thats my thoughts on it anyways.

Tiling looks fantastic, how the heck did you you do it so fast?
Man he took his time in the sun
Had a dream to understand
A single grain of sand
He gave birth to poetry
But one day will cease to be
Greet the last light of the library...We were here!

BigGrin Thanks everyone for your comments there always most welcome.

Nightwisher I just got stuck in and time flew, I must admit I quite enjoyed it too and this is the 1st time I have used copper tiles like these to cover a hull. It will be on my list of 1st options for a hull in the future as it just looks the bizz.
