 Thanks everyone for your comments and looking in. I agree the tiles do make a big difference to the hull and look great but I think I will be toning it down with Patina-it. I know some will say that the rest of the ship will need to be weathered to match but im not so sure as a wooden ship needs constant maintainance so it stands to reason that a fresh coat of paint could be applied above the waterline at any time but the sheathed part of the hull could only be maintained in dry dock or by careaning both of which rarely happened. well thats my thoughts on it anyways. Nightwisher I just got stuck in and time flew, I must admit I quite enjoyed it too and this is the 1st time I have used copper tiles like these to cover a hull.
