Hi Andy,

Looking at yours is making me question my decision to not paint mine. Yours is looking fantastic! How did you hollow out the water gauges? Great little detail to add!

BigGrin Hi Mark
One thing I will say before I explain how I did it is this anyone attempting this mod will need to realise it will destroy the original parts so once done its carry on or buy new parts to replace them.
The central unwanted centre sections were removed using the cutting wheel on my 5 speed rotory tool, then just a little tidying up with a file. After that sections of 1mm x 1mm were cut to length and fitted to make up the cage's ready for painting.
After the painting is finished the sight glass and 3 safety glazed panels will be fitted

BigGrin Hi All
The running board has been made up painted and fixed to the left side of the engine. There may be some fit problems lining up the sand pipes with the board cutouts , I just needed to adjust the central pipe.

BigGrin Hi All
The Backhead mods are now done the outer glass has been added to the sight glases and the candy cane central tubes put in place.
I then added the gauge decals kindle provided by Roy to the gauge faces and finally when dry I used Glue n Glaze to form the glass faces, you may notice that one of the larger gauges its still to clear properly.
That concluded this months build

BigGrin Hi Mark
Thanks for looking in and your comments and by all means use whatever you wish on your build. The weathering looks even better in real life as the flash bleached it out a little
