Tonight I finally finished fitting all the ornamentation on the stern piece with the exception of the lantern. Also used a little modellers putty on the upper central motif, felt the fit left a lot to be desired.... Cool Cool .. Rest of the evening was spent treenailing and the cutting of deck planks for the quarterdeck... Cool Cool

Happy building all...

Alan

Thanks Nigel.. may be an age before you get to that stage and judging by the detail and the fact you intend to do all the carvings then I think it'll be an age before we see the finished article....LOL LOL .. Still, I have a few years yet before I hit pension age so maybe, just maybe I'll still be around to see it....LOL LOL LOL .. Look forward to seeing what you come up with....

Regards

Alan

Tonight I finished planking the bulkhead on the quarterdeck and have now made a start on planking the quarterdeck... Marked lines across the deck 47mm apart and used a maximum plank length of 94mm...Cool Cool . Hope to finish planking the deck tomorrow and start another round of treenailing....Cool

Happy building all..

Alan
