Tonight I finally finished fitting all the ornamentation on the stern piece with the exception of the lantern. Also used a little modellers putty on the upper central motif, felt the fit left a lot to be desired....  .. Rest of the evening was spent treenailing and the cutting of deck planks for the quarterdeck... Happy building all... Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

Thanks Nigel.. may be an age before you get to that stage and judging by the detail and the fact you intend to do all the carvings then I think it'll be an age before we see the finished article....  .. Still, I have a few years yet before I hit pension age so maybe, just maybe I'll still be around to see it....  .. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.... Regards Alan

Tonight I finished planking the bulkhead on the quarterdeck and have now made a start on planking the quarterdeck... Marked lines across the deck 47mm apart and used a maximum plank length of 94mm...  . Hope to finish planking the deck tomorrow and start another round of treenailing.... Happy building all..
