Didn't fancy treenailing today so thought I would leave that for tomorrow and made a start on fitting the lantern instead. Blink Blink Found the fit wasn't that great Mad so took some time filing and adjusting until the fit was acceptable, this also included filing the locating lugs by the window frames to ensure the mesh sat flush... Cool Cool, found it easier using the trusted dremel with fine grinding attachments ... Cool Cool .. Next, I gave all the pieces two coats of primer before painting 3 coats of metallic gold. The finial was also fitted before the painting started.... Here are the parts so far....

Happy building all...

Regards

Alan
