Something I tried out the other day and thought I would let you guy's know about.
I am building the Corel Shenandoah cutter for my sister and thought I would try weathering the deck planking after much searching on the net the Vinegar and wire wool idea seemed best so I gave it a try and am very impressed with the way it turned out.
Basically you pour some disstilled white vinegar into a jar add some wire wool to it and leave for at least 24 hours if the mixture is too dark dilute 1to1 with water.
The light plank is how it is oringnal to give an idea of how much it weathers it.
