Thanks for your heads-up, guys.

It looks quite ugly in the macros - but not so bad in reality :)

Well done that man! BigGrin

As Steve said, I don't think it would have made a great deal of difference, but if it was me I'd be mighty relieved to be able to correct it.

[size=8]Hi guys!
It`s been a while since my last update but unfortunately we had to wait for the last two shipments for 4 months, as DeAgostini europe had some delivery Problems.
Yesterday i finally got pack20 and so i was very happy and motivated to finish this build.

I went to the basement and wanted to bring all parts to my workstation.
Unfortunately my short got caught at the doorhandle and everything fell on the floor.

Look at the mess:

Walter

Very sorry to see that and i can really feel your pain here.

From what i can see most look like clean breaks so hopefully you will be able to recover it.

Kind regards

[size=8]Thanks guys!

So i started with repair work and re-mounted the exhausts. I also re-glued some loosened parts of the engine.

The turbos i will not re-glue until the final steps, when all the parts of the model will come together. So i will be able to put them in the right Position.

I then began with the next steps of building the seat-belts and the electrical-system.

Hi guys!
It`s been a while since my last update due to a move. Took some time to reinstall my workspace.

The end is in sight for the MP4-project!

I added some tape to the intercooler parts as i saw it on some reference-pics, the parts were not glued so i could gently move them to fit the motor-block.

The underbody was attached:

Then i had to fix the fall-damage to the turbochargers and wastegates. I first connected the chargers to the air intakes and the lower intercooler parts.
I then filled the gap at the back with plastic sheet and white putty:

Front and rear wings were mounted:

Wheels attached after giving them a little bit of a used look:

Now all that`s left to do is decalling the body and finding a way to properly present the model!

Thanks for looking in!

Yeah, it`s a big one!

Yesterday i attached some decals to the Chassis:

Unfortunately one of the "powered by Honda" decals wasn`t of the best quality - have to live with that (and display the car from the left side!).

One question:
Should i put a layer of clear varnish over the decals? Normally i would do that, but as the chassis is varnished already, i`m not so sure.

Thanks!

Looks great as it is, well done!

Often a gloss coat can ruin your hard work by either being dust contaminated or destroying the paint or decals depending on the gloss type used. If you are happy with how it looks, then best to leave it as it is.
