Hi All I am now ready to start thinking about placing the 3 cannons built in to the lower gun deck (open view version) does anyone know how far the cannons protude over the lower gun deck to be in line with the dummy cannons used later on the same deck? I don't want to fix and rig them only to find that they are in the wrong position. Thanks You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Not sure how far they would stick out but the 3 cannons supplied upto now are 12 pounders (i think) and the lower gun deck would have had 32 pounders which i believe maybe a different size, i could be wrong about this. Not even sure we will get different size cannons.

the lower gun deck should have different cannons, the cut out part will have a removable floor and will be fixed outside of the deck, and a whole diarama will be created, and the whole lot can be slid into the lower deck, so you rig them cannons outside the victory(I think) Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat. http://www.model-space.com/gb/

MMMmmmmmm Thanks for the info although the cut-out I am creating is going to be different from the cut-out they recommend. But I do take you point on the cannons - we'll have to wait and see what's supplied. You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Hi Riff-Raff Andy and Karl are correct, its the larger 32 pounders on the lower gun deck. It will be interesting to see what will be supplied after the recent 12 pounder mixup! Pam's shipyard is closed for now no more room!
