Sorry it's been long time since the last posting, not much building time. Some plus, some minus points I would like to share with the forum members. As you are aware my intent was to light the lower decks with fibre optics cable. I used .25mm fibre inserted into the used inner tubes of biros for the lanterns. The cable was fed along plastic "U" molding and down through a 5mm tube exiting the hull next to the keel. All went well but there are a few pitfalls I would like to highlight. The .25mm cable is near impossible to push through as it binds up inside the tube, there for I was forced to use a pull through which is not the best way as the cable is very frangible and caused a lot of blue air. If any of you guys are thinking of lighting a model I would suggest a larger exit tube and thicker cable. SandyM attached the following image(s):

Thank very much for your kind words, Chris, Alan, Ian, Robby and Mr "T". I am not sure if I will continue with the Fiber Optic cable on the middle deck unless I can find a way take the cable down through the exit tube without damage to the existing lower deck cable. May have to go down the expensive fisherman's loor rout for the lighting. Sandy
