Hi Everyone I'm currently working on Issue 119 ( dressing the Spars )...and I have a couple of query's. The Lateen sail spar V14 on the large plan from Issue 113 shows 8 lift ropes at 6mm equal spacing. The installation Issue 130 shows only 4 lift ropes at 8mm spacing. Which instruction is correct?  Also the large plan shows spar V14 with a loop in the centre and I can't work out the purpose of it. Advice would be most appreciated...  Regards JohnP

Regarding the lift ropes, you should continue with what it says within the instructions for issue 130 and the Official build diary, not the mast plan. 4 lift ropes, 8mm spacing. As for the loop on the spar, I think the loop is there purely for visual purposes only. Just use the 1m long line as outlined in the instructions. Hope this helps. Regards Alan

Hi Everyone Progress to March 2019: Issues 119 and 123 refer: * Dressed all spars and included foot ropes which are not called up. Found details in Mr Gandale's excellent diary ( Page 154 Post 3074),thanks a lot Alan...it was a great help... * Fitted Crosstrees and flagpoles. * Fitted remaining Stays... Hi Everyone A little progress for April 2019 herewith... * Fitted Backstays to Foremast, Mainmast and Mizzenmast... * Fitted Mainsail - haven't decided yet on how to present it... * Had to modify the mainsail halyard leading over the cap, as I hadn't drilled holes in the little square bit...  So I fitted 2 little guides for the halyards to stop them sliding off the cap... Doesn't look toooo bad!!!... Regards JohnP John Passmore attached the following image(s):

Hi John, she just looks better and better.... Rigging does get a little tricky in places and needs some care. Judging by the looks of your build I'd say you're getting through it all beautifully.... Very well done.....  Regards Alan

Hi Everyone, Been a while but I've been moving along a bit, so update follows... Issues 124 to 128 refer: Fitted sails and running rigging to Main and Foremast...
