Hi guys here is my build so far.

I have skipped the initial parts and started building the body first.

I decided to paint my model gloss yellow.

Building and painting the body.

Here is an update on my Hummer Build.

The body is nearly finished.

Most of the little details have been added.

I have painted and added the main lights. Just the side lights left to go.

Hi Kenjara,

Looking very good - I'm almost at the same stage adding the lights to the body.

Did you do as suggested at the end of stage 52 and lacquer the body? I've just ordered some Humbrol gloss but still undecided if I should do it.

Yes I did, although I covered any stickers prior to spraying it. You will also need to cover the front headlights. This is not mentioned in the instructions but failure to do so will make them go foggy. Its fine to spray the paint onto painted clear plastic but spraying directly onto clear plastic will cause fogginess. I first learned this when accidentally varnishing a planes cockpit.

Thanks Gandale!

Had to amend the idle needle a little as it was way too high.
I used the old hair dryer trick to get it up and running initially as it was so cold.

The initial settings for the transmitter throttle were by default back to front. This meant when I tried to apply the brake it revved up initially which gave me a surprise.

This was easily fixed by reversing the throttle using the switch on the top of the transmitter.
