Thank you all for the Birthday Wishes and the nice comments Now the build Started by fitting the ribs dry to get them to sit right in the keel . A small bit of filing to get them to sit level Glued the ribs and checked that they were at right angles to the keel . Left to dry over night Fitted deck and top ribs for the quarter deck Thats all for now thanks for looking in rgd Martyn Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ? Completed. Hi all . A little bit more work on the ship Started planking the deck with the Tanganica wood . Just to say if you make this kit there is only just the right amount of wood to do the job so no cockups The corking and treenails are done with pencil then on to the stern The stern is planked with walnut Next is the first layer of lime planks Thanks for looking in rgd Martyn Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ? That's a little disappointing Martyn, from the diaries I've followed, they normally give you just enough planking for the job or more than needed. I do have lots of spare lime and walnut planking if you'd like some sent to you f.o.c. happy building David

Hi Martyn, Sorry to see you have to put this on pause for a bit, Corel are well know for giving you the exact amount of material for the job, there is little room for error but when you get less than stated then you have no chance Im sure you will get it sorted out though. I'm off to check my Corel Sloup kit contents now Steve
