Quick one all,

As I near the end of planking the hall, I’m realizing that I haven’t tapered the bow and stern planks enough. As such, I’m going to have a gap in the middle of the hall. Any suggestions?

Trying with an iPhone at the moment. One sec.

No chance of taking them off!

I can't really see the problem in that pic but I'd say take them off and do them again.

Not going to happen.... I just can’t bare to remove them. This process has been long enough! Any other suggestions? I was thinking about just filling it in with planks when I finally run out of space.

As I say, I can't see the problem in that pic. Just remove any offending planks from that point on.

If you are going to tile the hull then it won't matter at all. You probably won't even need filler.

My main concern is that there is more of a gap in the middle, so by the time the ends are complete there will still be a gap there. All good though I'll keep going. Not decided on the copper yet, I dont think you can buy the pack anymore no? I remember Stevo using copper tape or something though. I remember you from way back in 2014 by the way John!

Just had a look at your build diary but can't see any pictures? Were you one of the unfortunate chaps that lost them through photobucket? I'm guessing you made a lot more progress than me!

Yes, I can't believe how long I have been working on this build . . .

The pics are all there OK but there does appear to be a problem with people using Chrome. Try using Microsoft Edge or Fire Fox.

A couple of updated shots of the workbench. Hard to believe I spent most of the build in a cupboard so far!

A particularly helpful tool has been the Dremel - recently upgraded to include a feed from my larger dust extraction system! :-)
