Hi guys,

Have just fitted the ten beams for the deck - have noticed they are a bit "bouncy". I was wondering if I cut 20 mm posts from the waste die and position them under the centre of each beam would they interfere with anything later in the construction, appreciate any feedback

BigGrin Hi Steven
The beams will be like that untill the decks are placed and glued on top then all should become quite solid

Hi Steven.
Would that be Issue 12? I am not up to that point myself, however i think i read someone has put a balsa support every second beam.
So i would think it wouldn't interfere with anything later if you did.
Kym :)

Hi Steven, adding additional supports under the beams will strengthen the deck and will not be seen... I added two pillars under each cross beam, didn't cause me any problems and am pleased I did... I now have nice sturdy decks....Cool Cool .. Keep up the good work, will be following your progress...

Regards

Alan
