This is where I will post pictures of the RB7 as I go along. I will possibly only show the completed sections unless I run into problemsBlink The official build diary shows us the steps.

Nicely done. Must admit it was great to put in those few 1.4X4mm screws left over from issue 1 into the wing.
Thought I'd lose them for sure with my two toddlers in the house.

Well, I have been looking at some of the other builds and I hope mine comes out looking just as good. I thought of filing off the mold marks and filling in the few gaps but then it struck me, I should be having fun with this build and not make it into a hard slog. So, please excuse the small mistakes that there are. I see in the last picture that the gap on the left side of the small wing is not the same as the right side, that is because of the camera angle. I am having fun. Enjoy the pictures.

Hi sparrowtwin, sorry that I have not answered before. Too many builds going on. The hydroplane, Bismarck, fixing the PT boat and my planes.
Have not done the shock yet because there are are more parts coming as I mentioned in my previouse posts. I am still awaiting my 3rd posting.

Happy days are here againLOL Issues 7 - 10 have arrived and I will carry on building as soon as I have a gapMellow I think that I will post a picture of the hydroplane build so that you can see what I am busy with. The stickers will first be put on the wings and then the rest of the build will be done using teflon lubricant for the moving parts.

I did a little work on the suspension this week end. I will do the stickers on the wings at some other date. I sprayed the balls and the moving parts with teflon and then assembled after removing some flash to make the parts move smoother. The teflon I do at my own risk.

Looking really good. Dig the fact that you're filing the recessed plastic off.

My pit crew and I got the control arms to drop under there own weight when held horizontal. We have some shim stock to use if there is too much end play. From now on my pit crew will be doing all the comments, but I am a bit worried because she has an eye on a Storm Trooper. Waiting for the next set of parts, when the post office starts working againCursing

This a rather belated post. Been promising myself to get more done and I have, but just no pictures. Here is one of the lower control arms/wishbones. The white dot is the side I used some shim stock to get rid of excessive backward/forward play. Make sure that the arms fall under their own weight. You do not want the suspension too stiff. Of course the Teflon has been sprayed onBigGrin

I was so happyLOL putting parts together that I forgot to take some photos. I will see what I can do. I found that the balls can be pushed into the sockets by hand, so no pliers and less chance of damage. Some of the screws for the ball, I found that by opening the screw hole slightly makes the screw enter easier. I will post a picture to describe what I mean. Now, on some of the screws that I know will not be taken out again, I put a small amount of Loktite to stop them coming loose with vibration. Remember, I do this at my own riskCool
