Hi, Here is something to think about when the model finally gets to the stage of attaching the blocks to the masts and sprits, etc. I'm busy with an Artesania Latina Endeavour, and there are a lot of blocks attached with galvanised wire. I have taken a few years over this build, and the wires have become brittle, and as gentle as I try to be when threading the rigging, most have broken off (about half so far). I am replacing the wire as it breaks with the cotton. As this Victory is also an AL model, I can assume they will be using wire too. My suggestion would be to leave the wire and use cotton from the start, unless you are an absolute purist, and want to stick to the instructions.

Just my thoughts, hope it helps. Happy buildingBigGrin

Definantley keep this in mind - don't want to be redoing things as awkward as rigging blocks
You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
