Does anyone else get the feeling they should just leave it alone for a year or two?

Very true. I still remember the sweet deafening sound of high octane engines throughout the house on sundays...now it sounds like a golf tournament...i mean both NASCAR and Le Mans machines cast a shadow...no wonder most F1 drivers make the switch...if i was a driver id do the same...money is no factor when you get paid to be a clown in old Bernie's circus.

Yeah, i agree also.I can't remember a year when they haven't mucked around with the rules. If something isn't broken stop trying to fix it.If you look at nearly every major sport in the world they have a set of rules that don't change for decades.I'm not sure what they are trying to achieve with rule changes every year.Find a set of rules that work & then leave it alone.Stu
