Hi Mark, there is a fantastic amount of ornamentation on this build so applying gold leaf would probably work but think it would be a long process to cover everything needed... However, I would be tempted to order a back issue with some of the ornamentation in it and use that the test out whether it would work or not....

Hi Mark, of course I don't mind. The sharing of tips and info is all part of this great forum so you go ahead....

A word on the paint, it's not the easiest paint to work with but stir thoroughly and for best results apply with a small fine brush in very thin layers to build up the metallic look... I found in some places I applied 4 thin coats.. When done, apply a clear coat gloss varnish for protection....

Any queries then get back to me..
