Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice and to see what others have done.
I've reached Part 50 which is some of the bodywork fittings i.e. door handles, bumper hooks etc. The download instruction tell you to paint some of these black which is fine but I'm wondering what it will look like with painted parts attached to unpainted bumpers.

The way I see it is my options are:

1. Leave all the black parts as they come unpainted then they will all look the same.
2. Remove the bumpers and paint them as well as the fittings.
3. Just paint the black parts that go on the bodywork and leave the bumper fittings as the come.

If I do paint all the black parts or even just the bodywork parts do I also go back and paint the mirrors built at the beginning?

The official build diary doesn't mention painting any parts black so not sure what Tomick did.

Ah well enough rambling maybe I'll get some inspiration if I sleep on it.LOL

Graham

After looking at the black plastic parts I decided there as no point painting them. They have a good enough finish on them and after filing them down no filed sides were left exposed. If any are you could just touch them up with some black paint.
