I've had my next delivery and did not receive issue 22 as it was out of stock. I would like to continue with planking rows 4, 5 and 6 as described in the official build diary. There doesn't seem to be anything that seems overly different to laying rows 1, 2 and 3.
I wondered if this was a recommended move or should I wait until I get the issue or is the build diary detailed enough to continue?

Hi Issue 22 is indeed just planking the next 3 layers, nothing special so I guess you could continue. Remember plank 6 is tapered at the stern and finishes just beyond the final frame, planks 4 and 5 finish just beyond the gallery supports. Steve

Does later 5 need any tapering at all? I understand layer 6 does and will probably leave that until I get issue 22. If there is no tapering for layers 4 and 5, I think I'll have some Bank Holiday weekend planking fun!

No taper on layers 4 and 5, just the usual chamfering. Layer 6 stern is tapered by 1.5mm over the last 130mm length Steve
