Hi everyone,
Thought I'd do a mini-diary thing with some photos of my new launch. I wasn't entirely happy with the first one I did, and after seeing better versions, I realised that I could have done a better job of it! So I ordered a back issue and finally received it last week. Building the jig up now so will post some pictures soon!
Cheers, Tom

Thanks to Magpie's and various other ideas/builds floating around on this forum, I have at last started the delicate process of removing the ribs. Will post some photos tomorrow hopefully!

Finally got round to removing the ribs as described by Magpie - very delicate work! Made new 'ribs' from strips of lime, and added the thwart strip today. Tom

Very posh mate, in fact just superb work, well done, now can you do mine.. Pays to think and take your time, you've done both in excellent style. Give that man a beer

Thank you Colin for your words I am much happier with this one! Right, apologies for the vagueness of this build 'diary' - I was in a rush and hastened through it so I will resize the pictures when I can as it annoys everyone when you have to scroll ACROSS the screen to see a picture! Also will post some newer photos shortly! Best wishes, Tom

Finally finished the mini-project that became the launch. Am in two minds whether to put the mast and sail on as it clutters it up. Once again thanks to Magpie for the idea of cutting the ribs out, and who pretty much inspired the build! Cheers, Tom
