Hi all here is an update on yet another kit I seem to be unable to do a decent job of.

the decal is too big its supposed to fit inside the door and its supposed to say The Monkees not just Monkees, oh and its supposed to be yellow not gold.
none of the engine parts fit correctly there is no radiator or hoses for the engine.
if I cant build a decent model soon I think I will give up altogether.

Sorry to hear your troubles with this kit but Piant work looks like it has worked for you this time.

it is annoying when you get a poor kit just have fun with it BigGrin

Hi here is tonights update, been collecting bits for the dio for it can you guess what these will be used for.

thought I had got over the engine problems but as you can see the chassis is where it should be but the engine must be at least 10 mm out I have to fit the blower on there, dont know how to get round this one whether to hack the chassis about or try and move the engine forward some how.

Now that loons very nice indeed.

Somewhat of a rare kit you gave yourself there I think.

All seems to be coming together very well.

Happy Modelling

Yes it's supposed to be the beach, I know it doesn't look much like sand, it's actually mortar painted with what's supposed to be sand, I know it looks very yellow.

Well if I can get the paint off it (its been soaking in oven cleaner for a week now and still no luck) the bat mobile.
I do have another under my hat but it will be a very long term job its a dio of the Warspite. where she is at sea and being attacked by german planes, I have started on the planes. there will be lots of explosions with led lighting should be getting the 1/350 Warspite for birthday on 26th so will get stuck in in earnest then.

Very well done. A very interesting build.

As to getting paint off that bat mobile have you tried a product called model strip? It's a paste like substance and on a couple of occasions I have used it is always been successful.

Never has much luck with these oven cleaners .

Here is a link to model strip that explains it's use

https://www.wonderlandmo.../modelstrip-modelstrip/

http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/1320_1_1255575.html

It's available in most decent model shops and most of the main online ones so look around for best price if you decide on this one.
