Pack 12 arrived earlier than I expected.BigGrin

The parts, good to get the other frame half.
The headlamp assembled and fitted, I found the headlamp rim to be quite a slack fit so it will be glued at a later date once the build is complete.
Although not part of this months assembly rather than leave it unattached I fitted the circuit board in place.

Pack 13

The parts and magazine.
Parts unwrapped.
Parts assembled, I found it was easier to clip the battery strap together then place it over the battery.
A couple of vews of the handlebars attached together with the back cover.

Pack 15 arrived xmas eve.

The parts unwrapped.
Indicator fitted in nicely and the mounting was a good push fit into rear mudguard.
Rear brake caliper fitted to swingarm half.

Hi

I've just started my build & am having issues clicking the handle grips to the handlebar. They just won't click into place & then, because I applied to much pressure, I broke them both.

I have watched the YouTube videos & it should be easy but - No!!

Model-Space are sending me replacements but I'd like some advide before I try again. I'm waiting for a chap called Tony to cantact me. I don't believe that there is a fault with the handlebar.

Does any one have any thoughts?

Regards

Cassiar1

The fork springs are quite stiff and bigger diameter than i thought they would be.

The first part of the frame

Like the clutch lever the brake lever is sprung loaded and the throttle has a smooth action.

Attached the parts to the handlebars.

A close up of the crisp printing on the switchgear

Thats it for a few weeks.

Hi Cassiar1, Welcome to the forum and congratulations on choosing a great model.

Sorry to hear of your issues but having looked at mine I found that they don't fit with a definite click and are just pushed on easily.

Hope your replacements don't take long to arrive and you can continue your build.

Are you posting a build diary on here as its always good to see another build progress.

Pack 16 has finally arrived.

The parts unwrapped, the exhausts are heavy and with a good chrome finish.
Not too much to do but add indicator and plate to rear mudguard.
Thanks for looking.

If you haven't already glued that rear number plate, you might want to take it off until you have finished the build. It's pretty flimsy and delicate - it would be all too easy to damage it while you are handling the bike during the rest of the build.

I speak from experience having assembled my Harley in two days Blink over Christmas, from the complete kit. That was a lot of fun (and little sleep!).
