BigGrin Hi All

Some more progress, the last of the engine parts have been fitted and some weathering added. Next the inside surface of the wings were sprayed with aluminium paint ready to be fitted to the spars. After the lower wing was fitted it was time to add the fuel tanks and guns to there compartments and then weathered. Note that one wing gun bay will be open and the other closed so that's why they look different. More soon.

Regards

Some fabulous work going on here Andy, she's looking really good and my you've been busy since your last update!! Cool ThumpUp

Looks like an amazingly detailed kit and probably the best that Airfix have ever released? I've heard nothing but praise for this model!

Thanks for sharing your work with us Andy.

Great start, looking real good.

I have this kit but won't get my hands on it for a while.

Out of interest, what was your canopy like? I had three replacements & they seemed to get worseConfused

Will get an after market one when the time comes.

BigGrin Hi Wilfy

Thanks for looking in and your comments as for the canopy i was lucky no cracks just that small optical distortion at the mid rear and with mine you need to have it at a certain angle to see it so not worth bothering with replacing.
