One that I would most certainly have in my list for Santa is a (as well as CSS Virginia) is a 1.16 scale WW1 Mk 1 or Mk 5 tank with full internal detail and a couple of model crewman. In addition, the Magazine could have so much to offer – history of the tank, WW1 tank battles etc

That sounds very desirable Booth and it would be nice to have a really good static 'Military' model. Nothing against R/C of course (and it may even be the case that the R/C Russian T-72 arrives here at some point?), but R/C isn't my cup of tea, so yeah why not - very current for the next 4 years as well, so there could be enough interest?
Good post.

Not really to the point of this post but if you're after a WWI tank with internal detail have a look at the Meng French FT-17, it's 1/35 scale however does have a full interior & although Meng are new(ish) to the market their kits are great.
