just a lay down of primer for the gearbox, reservoirs & oil tank.
and the first coat of lacquer on the Turbo charger Intakes.

have a few more components painted up! quarter panel's only have base coat at moment, need to give them a very light rub down and then the gloss coat.

A little more progress today.
thought i would do a couple of bits before the F1 & got a little carried away Laugh and almost assembled the rear end LOL
other than repainting all gearbox and fixtures i did decide to change the Braided hose, as i felt the kit version was not quite right, so the scale is or should look better BigGrin

Very nice work as always Dan and yes, those braided hoses do look better? Nice to see that you are inserting some cable inside the hollow braid to stop it kinking and give a more rounded profile?

its great stuff & the Lacquer is just fantastic, brings out a great finish with very little polishing required, just a de-nib rather than full sand and polish.

the one i used was the 1.6mm
