on wish list - a 1:24 spitfire, in wood, plastic, just as long as I can build it :)

Hi Wilberforce. Just spotted your wish-list. Have you seen the new Airfix 1/24 scale Spitfire MkV? Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Yes I have LOL want to get it but cash a bit short at the moment - although at SAR600.00 it isn't too bad. Rated at a 4 I think on the local difficulty scale. Will have to speak to the girlfriend and see how anti modelling she is. Cool

Never noticed you were in South AfricaBlushing . Sorry. Have you thought about ordering it through the official Airfix website? Might work out cheaper.


Edit. I've just checked out the Airfix website. The kit costs £44.99 and delivery charge to S.A is £40.00. Converted to Rands = 937.50. So ignore my advice above.
