Hi,

I am now past the half way point with issue's 50 & 51

We get more upper hull parts, also more on Steve Dymszo's painting guide.

This hunk of junk is getting big and really starting to take shape.

Darren

Have an AWSOME day and may the Force be with you always 😉

Thanks Alan,

I was up your neck of the woods a few weeks ago (Edinburgh) for the European market. Beautiful place and nice friendly people.

Over the New Year period i thought i would start painting the corridors and hull, Davetwin, Avant1963 and a few others have inspired me to crack on with it.

I have just kept it simple.

Sprayed all the corridors and hold Tamiya TS-4 German Grey.

Painted all the pads and seat cushions Tamiya XF-78 Deck Tan, than i just sanded the corners to reveal the original colour just to try and give that old worn leather look. Used a Tamiya weathering kit to dirty things up a bit.

I am pleased with the results being my first time at doing this

I thought I would see how the corridor would fit in the cockpit tube and how much you could see through the access panel.

You can see quite a bit, maybe a small light wouldn't go a miss

Also before I put the ramp motor on I wanted to see how it looked down and lit up, quite chuffed how this beauty is turning out.

Just been on Deagostini Japan. Very interesting read, there's is released this month.

Some quotes from website

Boarding ramp is movable by remote control, lighting also lit automatically. During the display, it can be fixed by selecting the flight position or landing position

Equipped with a AA battery-battery box. Connect the internal wiring, and supplies power to the hull sections. Using the included remote control, the rear of the sub-high-speed drive, the front of the floodlights, and LED lighting of internal cockpit's possible lighting.

That looks a brilliant job you have done with the build so far.

Hope the rest of the build goes well.

I have been assembling the hull but the hold and corridors I have only just started, will do the cockpit later this year. There is no rush.
