I've used a black wash on the radiator and added a hose joint to the pipe.
The moulded clamps were filed off and I used a blue heat shrink sleeve ( plus my wifes hairdryer ) together with PE hose clamps. A bit fiddly but I like the result.BigGrin

I've seen that Dan on the UK forum has got some great ideas for some extra detail and i'm going to give some of them a go.(if my skills permit Laugh ).
Using the supplied plastic part as a template I cut a mesh piece and punched a hole through. A cut-down eyelet was glued on to clean up the hole.
Not a very visible part of the final model but I'm pleased with the detail.BigGrin

I don't know why the monocoque looks so grey in the picture. it must be the camera flash giving that effect.

Well done on your improvements they look great!BigGrin BigGrin

How are you getting your deliveries that you have received number 13?

I subscribed when the build first appeared and haven't had a delivery this whole year so far - I'm only upto issue 8. When I call them they tell me they don't have any stock????

This weeks work was the front dampers. I inked them as suggested in the instructions and replaced the screw "L" with a brass 1.4 x 8mm bolt from scale hardware. BigGrin
