Hi All, BigGrin

Figure painting is something I`ve had a go at, only at the most basic of levels.

Whilst having a web browsing session, I came across the following book.

Although it does specify on WW2 figures, the techniques should be the same for a multitude of figurines.

Here`s a link for you to view.

WW2 figure painting book

Hope you enjoy.

Nice find Derek, looks a very useful book and especially for any budding figure modellers who want to have a go but don't know where to start - I think this manual will be a great help? Cool ThumpUp

Hi Derek.
I am looking into doing some Napoleonic uniform figures.
The book looks quite interesting. Did you find this book informative and would you recommend getting it.

Hi Ian,

Didn`t purchase this book, it was something I noticed whilst browsing and thought it might be of interest to others hence the post. The book review Mr T linked may give you a better idea all be it very strangely upside down.

A quick look on Amazon does bring up a specific painters guide for Napoleonic figures and a Vallejo paint set.

Just a couple more ideas that you may find useful;)

Book

Hi Derek and MR T.
Thank you both for coming back to me on this. The video on the book was informative, might be a book for some reference and tips thanks for that MR T.

Derek I had already seen the paint sets, but not the other book thank you very much for pointing that one out to me, will have to troll the book shops now.
Thank you both again for your input.
Regards Ian
